Faversham was listed as one of 15 picturesque UK towns for a pre-Christmas break on the Guardian newspaper on Saturday 7 December. The story coincided nicely with the town’s Christmas Market on Sunday 8 December, which was bustling with people, including many out-of-towners.
The article highlighted our artisan and food markets and brewery but criticised our lack of quality dining options, although the Hot Tin Café got a mention. The biggest compliment went to Macknade Fine Foods, described as ‘possibly the country’s, if not the world’s, greatest food hall’!
